Winchmore Hill Mob
Logline
1963; four rebellious, resourceful teenage boys battle violent Gangsters, avoid detection by Police, deceive family, friends, whilst perpetrating a major crime spree in the sleepy north London dormitory of Hinchcliffe.
Four likeable 16yr old boys, rob a bank and Jewellery shop twice in plain sight of local coppers, to pay off three loan sharks led by a vicious Lycanthrope, as well as starting a band with three lady singers, nearly making it big time during the early 1960’s. Mods and Rockers, Cliff Richard, Elton John, Gene Vincent and Billy (Boss of London’s Underworld play a part in a six-episode story.
Taken from the confidential files of the Author who lived in Winchmore Hill from 1947 to 1969 whose parents married on the 21st July 1944 in St Peter’s Church, Grange Park under a Doodlebug.
